Vincent Musyoka Kawaya, the Member of Parliament for Mwala Constituency, has handed over a KSh 5 million donation from William Samoei Ruto to Mwala Technical and Vocational College to facilitate the purchase of a new college bus.
During a visit to the institution, Kawaya said the contribution from the President will greatly support transportation for students and staff, improving mobility for academic activities and institutional programmes. The MP also made a personal contribution of KSh 1 million towards the same project, further boosting efforts to secure a modern bus for the college.

At the event, Kawaya reaffirmed President Ruto’s earlier pledge to support the construction of affordable hostels for students at the institution through the government’s Affordable Housing Programme. The initiative is expected to improve accommodation and learning conditions for students pursuing technical and vocational training.
The legislator expressed gratitude for the President’s continued support to education and youth development, noting that the investment will help strengthen training opportunities and accelerate development in Mwala Constituency.
