Makûenî women Representative Rose Museo Rallies Makueni Residents for Mass Voter Registration Ahead of 2027 Polls

Makueni Woman Representative Rose Museo has intensified calls for mass voter registration across the county, urging residents to secure their voter cards in preparation for the 2027 General Election.
Speaking during a community engagement forum, Museo emphasized the importance of civic participation, reminding wananchi that the power to shape leadership and influence development lies in their hands.
Under the rallying call “Tuko Kadi… Your Voice, Your Power,” the legislator encouraged eligible voters—particularly youth, women, and first-time voters—to turn up in large numbers during the ongoing registration drive by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
She noted that increased voter registration is key to strengthening democracy and ensuring that the voices of Makueni residents are fully represented in national and county leadership.
“Your vote is your voice. Without a voter’s card, you lock yourself out of decisions that directly affect your future. Let us all register and be ready to decide our destiny in 2027,” Museo said.
The Woman Representative also called on community leaders, youth groups, and civil society organizations to mobilize and sensitize residents on the importance of registration and active participation in the electoral process.
Her remarks come amid a broader push to boost voter turnout and civic awareness across the country, with leaders emphasizing inclusivity and the need to bring more young people into the democratic space.
As the countdown to 2027 begins, Museo’s message remains clear—every vote counts, and every citizen has a role to play in shaping Kenya’s future.
