KMTC Partners with African Business Community to Unlock Healthcare Jobs in Germany
Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is exploring a strategic partnership with the African Business Community (ABC) aimed at preparing students for international employment opportunities, particularly within Germany’s healthcare sector.
During a meeting held on March 3, 2026, at KMTC headquarters, a delegation from ABC led by directors Armin Rupp and Rachael Kyalo engaged the College’s leadership in discussions on structured collaboration that would equip students with the competencies required for overseas healthcare careers.
The talks focused on creating clear pathways for students to gain essential language skills, professional readiness, and the qualifications required to meet international healthcare standards. The discussions also emphasized early career support and ethical recruitment practices to ensure graduates transition smoothly into foreign health systems.
Speaking during the meeting, KMTC Chief Executive Officer Kelly Oluoch reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to producing globally competitive health professionals.
“As an institution committed to producing globally competitive health professionals, we are keen on building collaborations that open up international opportunities for our students while maintaining high standards of training and ethical practice,” said Dr. Oluoch.
Mr. Rupp noted that the organization’s approach goes beyond recruitment by ensuring candidates are fully prepared for successful integration into Germany’s healthcare system.
“We believe in engaging students early, supporting language acquisition and professional orientation, and ensuring they are fully prepared to integrate successfully into the German healthcare system,” he said.
ABC is an international recruitment agency specializing in healthcare placements in Germany. The agency recruits professionals across various fields including physiotherapists, nurses, dentists, dental technologists, community oral health officers, pharmacists, and occupational therapists, while also assisting candidates with credential recognition and professional transition processes.
The partnership is expected to expand global career prospects for KMTC graduates while strengthening the institution’s role in producing healthcare professionals ready to compete in the international job market.
