Kenya Railways MD Philip Mainga Extends Festive Greetings to Madaraka Express and Nanyuki Safari Train Passengers

Kenya Railways Managing Director Mr. Philip Mainga today shared warm Christmas and New Year wishes with passengers travelling on the Madaraka Express Passenger Services and the Nanyuki Safari Train, reaffirming the corporation’s commitment to safe, reliable, and customer-focused rail transport.

Speaking to passengers, Mr. Mainga expressed gratitude to travelers for their continued trust in Kenya Railways, noting that their support has been instrumental to the success of passenger rail services across the country. He said the organization is honoured to host thousands of passengers who choose to travel by rail every other day.

“As you head home and to other destinations, I on behalf of the Kenya Railways family wish you, together with your families and loved ones, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” Mr. Mainga said.
He encouraged passengers to enjoy their journey, assuring them of safety and comfort throughout their travel. “Welcome onboard. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey. We will get you there safely, and we look forward to having you onboard during the return journey,” he added.

Mr. Mainga concluded by thanking passengers for choosing Kenya Railways, wishing them happy holidays and continued pleasant travel experiences in the new year.
