Kalonzo Musyoka Endorsed as Wiper Presidential Candidate, Urges Gen Z to Vote Out Kenya Kwanza in 2027
Nairobi, Kenya – Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has officially been endorsed as the Wiper Patriotic Front’s presidential flagbearer for the 2027 General Elections, issuing a passionate call to Kenyan youth to register as voters and take charge of the country’s future through the ballot.
Speaking at the party’s National Delegates Convention (NDC) held at Uhuru Park on Friday, Kalonzo challenged young Kenyans—especially the Gen Z population—to rise up and bring about political change by voting out the Kenya Kwanza government.
"If you have not registered, I implore you to register as voters," Kalonzo urged. "When we rise together, no mountain is too high, no government can suppress us. When we rise together, Kenya will rise again."
In a speech charged with emotion and political resolve, Kalonzo accused the current administration of suppressing dissent and violating citizens’ rights.
"This government ordered that you be shot, not in the head but in the leg because you dared to exercise your constitutional rights," he said, referring to the government’s response to recent protests. "It’s time to shoot this government at the ballot."
The former Vice President promised to lead a government that delivers honest leadership, justice, and equal opportunity for all.
"Hope is alive and together we shall reclaim our country, rebuild our economy and restore the dignity of every Kenyan household," Kalonzo declared, calling for a "revolution of hope fueled by the unbroken Kenyan spirit."
The convention culminated in Kalonzo's official endorsement as the party’s presidential candidate, a moment met with thunderous applause from party delegates.
"I accept your nomination to be your presidential candidate for the elections scheduled for 2027," he said, signaling the beginning of a renewed political campaign against President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza coalition.
As the 2027 elections approach, Kalonzo's message to the youth was clear: the power to shape Kenya’s future lies in their hands—and the time to act is now.
