Hon. Jessica Mbalu has called on Kenyan youth to take charge of their future by registering as voters ahead of the upcoming general elections. Speaking passionately during the Wiper Democratic Movement National Delegates Conference (NDC) held at the historic Uhuru Park, Mbalu emphasized the crucial role young people play in shaping the country’s political landscape.

“The youth are the majority in this country. Your voice matters, but it can only be heard through the ballot,” Mbalu told the energized crowd. “Registering as a voter is not just a right—it’s a responsibility. We cannot afford to sit back and let others decide our future.”

Her remarks were met with applause from party delegates, youth leaders, and supporters in attendance, as she highlighted the need for political participation and accountability among the younger generation.

Mbalu also underscored the Wiper party’s commitment to youth empowerment, urging government institutions to make the voter registration process more accessible and youth-friendly.

The NDC, which brought together key party leaders and grassroots supporters, focused on revitalizing Wiper’s agenda ahead of the 2027 elections, with special emphasis on inclusivity, governance, and youth leadership.
