Nairobi, Kenya, 28th August 2025 — Mabati Rolling Mills Ltd (MRM), Kenya’s leading manufacturer of steel roofing and building solutions, has unveiled a groundbreaking innovation in customer service — the country’s first-ever Mobile Showroom for steel roofing and building solutions.

Dubbed “Showroom on Wheels,” the initiative is designed to bridge the gap between MRM and its customers by taking innovative, high-quality building solutions directly to homes, businesses, and communities, even in the most remote areas.

The Mobile Showroom is more than just a display unit. It is a fully equipped, moving hub of knowledge and solutions that provides customers with direct access to MRM’s diverse product portfolio, expert consultations, and practical demonstrations of proper roofing and building techniques.

Speaking during the launch, MRM CEO Albert Sigei reaffirmed the company’s commitment to customer-centric innovation and national development:

These bills, nine in total, are seen as a direct threat to Kenya’s food security and sovereignty, and the movement warns they could have devastating consequences for the country’s agricultural sector, which contributes over 80% to the nation’s GDP.
