The Kenya National Police DT SACCO has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting both the operational and recreational needs of police officers, following the unveiling of a state-of-the-art saluting dais worth KSh 60 million at the National Police College in Embakasi.

The project was officially launched on August 8, 2025, by the SACCO’s National Chairman, David Mategwa, in a ceremony attended by senior police officials and college trainees. The new dais is expected to enhance ceremonial functions and provide a modern platform for official parades and national events hosted at the institution.

In addition to the infrastructure milestone, the SACCO extended its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts by donating a volleyball kit valued at KSh 1.5 million to the college’s volleyball team. Chairman Mategwa noted that the contribution was aimed at fostering physical fitness, teamwork, and morale among officers in training.

“This investment is not only about infrastructure—it’s about uplifting the welfare and spirit of our officers. We believe that a healthy, motivated force is a more effective one,” Mategwa said during the event.

The day’s double gesture underscored the SACCO’s dedication to both professional excellence and the holistic well-being of Kenya’s law enforcement community.
