Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna Flags Off Youths to Overseas Jobs: ‘Your Journey to a Better Future Starts Now’”

Mwingi West Member of Parliament, Charles Nguna, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to uplifting the youth of his constituency by securing international job placements for young men from the region.

Through his office’s initiative, twenty opportunities were created for male youths from Mwingi West to work in various countries across the globe. This week, the first group of these ambitious young men boarded flights to their new destinations, filled with hope and anticipation.

Speaking during a brief send-off, MP Nguna remarked, “Their departure marks the beginning of long-awaited new chapters in their lives through my connections. These young men are not just leaving as workers; they are going as Kenya’s ambassadors, ready to uplift their families and seize global opportunities.”
The youths will be deployed in phases and are set to work across diverse sectors, gaining valuable international experience while also contributing to their communities back home through remittances and shared skills.

Nguna encouraged other young people to embrace such chances with courage and optimism. “Your journey to a better future could start beyond our borders. Step forward with confidence,” he said.

Families of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the MP for championing youth empowerment and opening doors that promise brighter futures.

This initiative adds to Nguna’s growing record of programs designed to tackle unemployment and create sustainable livelihoods for the people of Mwingi West. As these young men settle into their new roles abroad, they carry not just personal dreams but the aspirations

These bills, nine in total, are seen as a direct threat to Kenya’s food security and sovereignty, and the movement warns they could have devastating consequences for the country’s agricultural sector, which contributes over 80% to the nation’s GDP.
