Guinness Spotlights the Passion of African football fans with the Premier of Shine film on Showmax 

The film follows the journey of four football fans in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Ghana.
It celebrates the fans who go out of their way to make football accessible to their communities in the most unconventional ways possible.
Featured in the film is Gor Mahia superfan Toby Jakwaya.

 Guinness, known for its passion for football and epic Matchdays, proudly presents Shine, a heartwarming 28-minute documentary which is now premiering on Showmax. This film follows the journeys of four dedicated football fans in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Ghana who go above and beyond to make the beautiful game more enjoyable for the fans within their local communities.
Written by Kenya’s Joan Rispa Kiragu cand directed by Nigeria’s Nora Awolowo, Shine captures the spirit and essence of the beautiful game through the eyes of devoted super fans like Gor Mahia’s superfan Toby Jakwaya, Nigeria’s vibrant commentator Tracy Chapele-Ugo (Chief Suo), Ghana’s passionate George Forson, and Tanzania’s spirited Nasri Ramadhan (Ujugu Hapa).

Nine private security companies revoked operating licenses to carry on with their services

By Irene Mwende The nine private security companies that thier licenses were terminated by the private security Regulatory Authority ( PSR) Director General Fazul Mohamed can now freely carry on with their services. Addressing the media on behalf of Umbrella association of private security Secretary General PROSAK Delano Kiilu noted they had promised an update on the taking rogue by the horns using the PSRA Act of 2016. "The drafters of the Act envisaged a dispute between the Regulator and it's subjects . section 43,5 of the Act wher the practioner is aggrieved by a discussion of the Regulator can appeal to the Cabinet Secretary,"   said Kiilu  Secretary General PROSAK Delano Kiilu further mentioned the Act provides the moment the appeal is lodged with the Cabinet Secretary . These bills, nine in total, are seen as a direct threat to Kenya’s food security and sovereignty, and the movement warns they could have devastating consequences for the country’s agricultural sector, which contributes over 80% to the nation’s GDP.
