TotalEnergies Kenya Launches New Generation Card to Transform Mobility and Fleet Management

TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya has launched the New Generation TotalEnergies Card, a digital mobility and payment solution designed to give businesses, fleet managers and individual motorists greater control, security and visibility over mobility-related expenses.

The new solution introduces digital payment options, including the Mobility Pay mobile application and a virtual card that uses one-time passwords, allowing customers to make payments without relying solely on physical cards.

TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya Managing Director Thibault Flichy said the solution responds to growing demand from businesses for better control of fuel expenditure, real-time monitoring and improved financial oversight.

"The card offers instant SMS and email transaction alerts, an advanced customer portal, spending limits, pre-authorisation for controlled fuel dispensing and enhanced security through PINs, RFID vehicle tags and OTPs." The MD said

According to the company, the solution also provides simplified tax-compliant invoicing and is accepted across the TotalEnergies station network for eligible products and services.

Customers can apply for the New Generation TotalEnergies Card through the TotalEnergies Kenya website, while matatu and boda boda operators can apply at TotalEnergies service stations countrywide.

The company said the new card is part of its continued efforts to provide secure, technology-driven mobility solutions for Kenyan businesses and individual motorists.
