KAWAYA: KATHIANI RESIDENTS SEE BENEFITS FROM RUTO GOVERNMENT PROJECTS

The people of Kathiani have once again expressed their displeasure with politicians who have held them hostage without offering tangible solutions to their needs.

During a Mama Mboga empowerment event in Kathiani, residents highlighted four key reasons they are shifting their political allegiance to President William Ruto:

1. Coffee reforms: As a farming zone, Kathiani residents are encouraged by reforms in the coffee sector that are currently delivering more than double the returns for farmers.

2. Affordable fertiliser: The reduction of fertiliser prices to KSh 2,000 per 50kg bag, down from KSh 7,000 in 2022, is a game changer for farmers and is expected to improve agricultural production, including coffee.

3. Road infrastructure: The ongoing tarmacking of the Kenol–Mitaboni–Ngoleni–Kathiani–Kaani Road, which had stalled under previous regimes, is transforming connectivity in the area.
4. ESPM Market: The ongoing construction of the ESPM Market in Kathiani Town is another major investment aimed at improving trade and creating economic opportunities for local residents.

This is the difference between President William Ruto’s administration and those who remain in opposition without offering alternative solutions.
