Incoming Nairobi Governor Gov. Patrick Mbangula MBS is presenting himself as a leader focused on elevating the capital city through progressive and transformative leadership. His message, captured in a new campaign poster, is built around the conviction that Nairobi deserves better.

Mbangula’s message emphasises leadership driven by purpose rather than competition, with a promise to raise the standards of service, development and governance in Nairobi. The poster’s central message—“Different level, same purpose: To win”—seeks to position him as a leader ready to bring a different approach to the management of the city.

As Nairobi looks towards the 2027 political contest, Mbangula is seeking to build a leadership platform centred on change, ambition and improved outcomes for residents. His supporters say the vision represents a new chapter for Nairobi, with the focus on elevating the city and delivering a better future for its people.
