RIARA SPRINGS GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL CROWNED BEST SCHOOL AT TEENEAGLE GLOBAL FINALS 2026
Riara Springs Girls' High School has achieved global recognition after being crowned the Best School Overall at the prestigious TeenEagle Global Finals 2026 held in the United Kingdom.
The competition brought together outstanding students from 34 countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe to compete in English language disciplines including debate, writing, public speaking, talent showcase, and communication skills.
The Kenyan school delivered an exceptional performance, topping the overall rankings and demonstrating excellence across multiple categories. The team returned home with an impressive haul of 12 trophies, 18 gold medals, 19 silver medals, 20 bronze medals, and two honorable mentions, cementing its place among the world's leading schools in English language competitions.
Among the school's outstanding achievements were winning the Best School Overall, Best Debaters Overall, TeenEagle Best Overall, and Talent Showcase – First Position. The students also excelled in persuasive writing, debate, and TeenEagle individual categories, earning top positions against competitors from around the globe.
The remarkable performance was further highlighted by student Alyssa Luciel, who was ranked First in the World in Receptive Skills, winning a Gold Medal, before securing Position Two Globally in another competition category to claim a second Gold Medal.
The school's triumph has been widely celebrated as a proud moment for Kenya, showcasing the country's growing reputation for academic excellence and producing globally competitive students.
