Zoho, KNCCI Partner to Accelerate Digital Transformation for Kenyan SMEs

Global technology company Zoho has announced a strategic partnership with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Kenya.

The partnership was unveiled during Zoholics Kenya 2026, Zoho's annual user conference, and is aimed at expanding access to digital business solutions, enhancing technology adoption, and equipping entrepreneurs with the skills needed to compete in an increasingly digital economy.

Speaking during the announcement, Premanand Velumani, Associate Director for Strategic Growth at Zoho MEA, said the collaboration reflects the company's long-term commitment to supporting Kenya's business ecosystem through innovation, technology enablement, and accessible digital solutions.
He noted that the partnership will help empower SMEs by expanding access to technology, strengthening digital capabilities, and lowering barriers to business transformation, in line with Zoho's transnational localism strategy that promotes sustainable local economic development.

Zoho Kenya Country Head Veerahumar Natarajan said Kenya remains one of the company's fastest-growing markets as businesses increasingly embrace digital transformation to improve efficiency, resilience, and competitiveness.

He added that as artificial intelligence continues to reshape business operations, organizations are adopting unified digital platforms to drive productivity and growth, with the partnership expected to support Kenyan enterprises on their digital transformation journeys.

Under the agreement, eligible KNCCI members will receive KES 65,000 in Zoho Wallet Credits, which they can use to access any of Zoho's more than 60 cloud-based business applications covering accounting, customer relationship management, collaboration, human resources, and other key business functions.

KNCCI Nairobi Chairman Dr. James Mwaura welcomed the collaboration, saying it will provide members with world-class technology, training, and support to help businesses successfully adopt digital solutions and improve their long-term competitiveness.

Beyond providing technology access, Zoho will offer onboarding support, product training, and business enablement programs to ensure SMEs maximize the value of its digital solutions. The partnership will also feature workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, marketing campaigns, and awareness initiatives aimed at promoting digital adoption among Kenyan businesses.

Zoho said its continued growth in Kenya has been driven by rising demand for scalable cloud solutions and sustained investments in local partnerships and digital enablement initiatives. The company's most popular products in the Kenyan market include Zoho One, Workplace, CRM Plus, CRM, and Books, with strong adoption across the IT, financial services, insurance, and telecommunications sectors.

The partnership is expected to play a significant role in enhancing SME productivity, strengthening business resilience, and accelerating Kenya's digital economy.
