UDA Strengthens Regional Ties as Secretary General Hassan Omar and Organizing Secretary Vincent Kawaya Hold High-Level Talks with South Sudan President Salva Kiir

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has taken another step in strengthening regional political cooperation following high-level discussions with South Sudan President H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit during a mission to Juba.

 UDA Organizing Secretary General Vincent Musyoka, said the delegation held fruitful talks aimed at enhancing cooperation between Kenya's ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and South Sudan's ruling Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM).

Kawaya noted that the discussions focused on building stronger party-to-party relations, promoting the exchange of governance experiences, and deepening collaboration on issues that advance regional peace, stability, and economic development.
He emphasized that closer cooperation between the two ruling parties will strengthen the longstanding friendship between Kenya and South Sudan while creating opportunities for greater political engagement and shared development initiatives.
The UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar reaffirmed the party's commitment to fostering regional unity through constructive dialogue and partnerships, saying such engagements are vital in promoting democratic governance and supporting the East African Community's vision of greater integration.

The meeting underscored the growing relationship between UDA and SPLM as both parties seek to work together in addressing common regional challenges and advancing the interests of their respective countries.
