 Incoming Nairobi Woman Representative Hon. Florence Kilasi attended the second phase of the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Programme disbursement held at Ulinzi Sports Complex, where she lauded the initiative as a significant step towards empowering young people through economic inclusion and entrepreneurship.

Speaking during the event, Kilasi commended the government and development partners for implementing programmes that equip youth with financial resources and opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods.

She noted that the NYOTA Programme is helping young entrepreneurs turn their business ideas into reality while creating employment and reducing poverty among the youth.

Kilasi encouraged beneficiaries to invest the funds prudently, expand their businesses, and become agents of positive change within their communities. She emphasized that empowering young people economically is essential for accelerating Nairobi's development and strengthening the country's economy.
