Kangemi Chemist Owner Arrested as Authorities Probe Alleged Illegal Pharmacy Operations

Kangemi Chemist Owner Arrested Over Alleged Pharmacy Violations
Wilson Anyang’u Murundu has reportedly been arrested over alleged pharmacy-related offences and is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday morning as investigations continue.

According to reports, all outlets associated with him have allegedly been closed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board pending further investigations into the operations of the businesses.

The developments have sparked reactions in Kangemi, with Wanja Nyarari criticizing the situation and recalling previous remarks allegedly made by Murundu suggesting that business owners needed “silaha” to protect their enterprises.
Nyarari claimed it was ironic that authorities would later allegedly discover that the same business was operating outside legal requirements.

Residents who obtained medication from Lumuma Drug House have been encouraged to seek professional medical advice and health check-ups where necessary as authorities continue handling the matter.

The case is now before the courts, with Murundu expected to take plea on Monday.
