Koskei Backs David Keter ‘Dollarline’ as UDA Hands Him Ticket for Emurua Dikirr By-Election

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has officially issued a nomination certificate to David Keter, popularly known as Dollarline, clearing him to contest in the upcoming Emurua Dikirr constituency by-election slated for May.

Keter received the certificate in a brief but significant ceremony attended by key party officials and leaders, signaling UDA’s readiness to defend and consolidate its influence in the region.
Notably present was Ezekiel Koskei, who joined Keter during the event and publicly backed his candidature, underscoring unity within the party ranks ahead of the crucial mini-poll.

UDA Rallies Behind Keter
Speaking after receiving the nomination, Keter expressed gratitude to the party leadership for the trust placed in him, pledging to run an issue-based campaign focused on development, service delivery, and addressing the needs of residents of Emurua Dikirr Constituency.

“I am honored to receive this certificate and the confidence of the party. My focus now is to engage the people on the ground and offer leadership that delivers tangible results,” he said.

Koskei Calls for Unity and Support
Koskei used the occasion to rally party supporters and leaders to close ranks and support Keter, emphasizing the importance of unity in securing victory for UDA in the by-election.

He described Keter as a capable and committed leader with a strong connection to the grassroots, expressing confidence in his ability to represent the constituency effectively.
“This is a moment for us to stand together as a party. With unity and focus, we will deliver victory and continue advancing the development agenda,” Koskei stated.

Focus Shifts to Campaign Trail
With the nomination now secured, Keter is expected to intensify his campaigns across the constituency, engaging voters and outlining his vision ahead of the May by-election.

The Emurua Dikirr by-election is shaping up to be closely watched, with political parties keen to test their strength and influence at the grassroots level ahead of the 2027 General Election.
UDA leaders have expressed optimism about retaining the seat, citing growing support and ongoing grassroots mobilization efforts.
