Hon. Jessica Mbalu received one of the continent’s most distinguished honors: the Most Progressive Female Member of Parliament in Kenya, awarded by the prestigious Africa Champions Award 2025. 

The award committee praised her dynamic leadership style, forward-thinking legislative work, and unrelenting dedication to community empowerment. Over the past year, Hon. Mbalu has been at the forefront of key national debates—championing women’s economic inclusion, expanding access to digital skills training, and pushing for stronger governance structures to ensure transparency.
